IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Bespoke cakes require a £100 deposit to secure your date
  • Final payment for bespoke cakes is due on collection
  • Set design cakes require full payment upfront
  • Bespoke cake deposits are only refundable with 7 days’ notice, before work begins
  • Set design cakes may be refundable with 5 days’ notice
  • We do not offer standard delivery (delivery may be considered for an extra fee)
  • Once collected, cakes are the customer’s responsibility and must be kept refrigerated. 
  • Our kitchen handles common allergens — we cannot guarantee allergen-free products please contact us with any allergy concerns before ordering.

Refund & Returns Policy

At Wee Cakes ‘N’ Bakes Ltd, all of our cakes and baked goods are handmade with care. This policy explains when refunds or returns may be available. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

 

Bespoke & Custom Cake Orders

  • A £100 deposit is required to secure all bespoke cake orders.
  • Deposits may be refundable if cancelled with at least 7 days’ notice before the agreed collection date.
  • Once work has begun on a bespoke cake, the order cannot be cancelled for a refund.
  • Bespoke cakes  are non-returnable due to their personalised nature.

 

Set Design Cakes & Standard Items

  • Full payment is required to secure all set design cake orders.
  • Set design items may be refundable if cancelled with at least 5 days’ notice before the collection date.
  • Cancellations made after this time are not eligible for a refund.

 

No-Shows & Failure to Collect

  • Orders must be collected on the agreed date. We can do our best to accommodate a change of date with enough notice. 
  • Failure to collect an order, or last-minute cancellations, will result in no refund.
  • Uncollected orders may be disposed of at our discretion.

 

Quality Issues

    • We take great care in preparing all of our products. If you believe there is an issue with the quality of your order, the best course of action is to notify us at the time of collection, where possible, so we can do our best to resolve the issue immediately.
    • If an issue is identified after collection, you must notify us within 24 hours of collection, providing clear photographs and a description of the issue.
    • Refunds or partial refunds will be considered at our discretion where a genuine fault is confirmed.
    • We do not offer refunds for issues arising from:

• Damage during customer transport

• Improper storage or handling

• Exposure to heat or moisture

• Normal variations in colour, finish, or decoration

 

Allergens & Dietary Requirements

  • Our kitchen handles allergens including milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), nuts, peanuts, soy, and sulphites.
  • While reasonable precautions are taken, we cannot guarantee allergen-free products.
  • Refunds will not be issued for allergic reactions where allergen information was clearly provided and accepted at the time of ordering.

 

Delivery (Where Agreed)        

    • Wee Cakes ‘N’ Bakes Ltd does not offer standard delivery.
    • Where delivery is agreed on request, delivery fees are non-refundable.
    • Responsibility for the order passes to the customer once delivery is completed.

 

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
